HELP!!!Alpine CD Changer S630 S90-V90

Yeah I know how it is. Fortunately we have a local shop that does these installs for $65. I did one on one '88; we paid to have a different '88 done and it was worth it.

I was under the impression that the Alpine 6-disc units were 100% compatible with the wiring in the 850/70 and 960/90 series cars. I know the head units are capable of controlling this changer and I didn't think it required the harness to be run the length of the car.
