power window compatabilty 900 1993

Just curious-I need to change the drivers side power window regulator on a 93 940. Being a durable volvo-dont see many that young at the boneyard. Does anyone know what earlier year 700 or 900 series cars would be a direct replacement before I proceed with looking for a regulator. The window goes up and down ok--but-dips towards the back and doesnt quite seal as it should-Im figuring the reg is bad . Thanks
