flickering/blinking idiot lights 200 1982

Well, encountered the first weird thing with the 242GLT today. Drove to the airport an hour away, everything ran just fine. Half way home, the battery, parking brake, and brake failure lights came on and started flickering on and off, sometimes being dim, sometimes bright, but never really consistantly on. I pulled over off the highway, and shut it off (the brakes worked perfect, in spite of the brake failure light). The parking brake light turned on steady while the car was still running when i engaged the parking brake (normal operation). I looked over the car, under the hood, everything. Belts were tight, voltmeter on dash had never dropped below approx. 14 volts, temp was normal, everything in the whole car was perfect, except for the three lights.

Started it back up and kept driving, figuring nothing was wrong. Experimenting with the lights, at first they seemed to turn off when i revved the engine, but if help at a higher rev (eg. 4000 RPM) they would come back and flicker again as normal. By the time i got home (15 minutes later) They were a little brighter and wouldn't go off with the quick rev anymore. I once again looked over everything, and all belts are fine, etc....

Any ideas???
It's sunny out on my day off, and i wanna drive it!! :(

Thanks for the help!

John
