Stumble, loss of power, no engine light 700

So I picked up my new 1990 760 turbo (intercooled) with 222 K in Dallas and all went better than expected. There was a problem about 150 miles into the trip that has me concerned. The car stumbled on a short (2 mile) uphill and began to loose power. I pulled over to the shoulder and continued for about a mile and the power returned. No engine light ever came on.

Without claiming to know enough about LH cars or turbos, it acted like fuel starvation. In a K-jet 240 I would say fuel pump relay or fuel filter...this is also my assuption for this more advanced car. I have to take a 1000 round trip in it (no name yet) next week and I was wondering if there were other common culprits.

This part is just fluff but assistance is always welcome
Good and bad so far on the new baby:

Bad:

Under engine load, even moderate, the ac/heat fan stops blowing momentarily. I know this is in the FAQ's so I will research it.

Fuel and boost gauges do not work. I will need to find a full wiring diagram for this very complex (to me) car.

Backrest tilt spins with ratchetting sound and no movement.

Tailgate inside cover loose.

AC needs a charge.

Good:

Turbo is fun!!!!

Got around 25 MPG on a 350 mile trip using regular gas. Comments on the use of 87 octane welcome,

Nivomats are not shot! They just needed some time to pump up. Ride is still softer than any of my early model 240's.

Best shifting Volvo I have driven with an automatic.

Radio is shockingly clear and powerful with excellent seperation...too bad I will have to add an RF modulated CD changer and new electric ant.

Does not appear to me leaking anything!!!!!

Very comfortable hiway car...way to quiet to be a RWD Volvo!

Did I mention that Turos are fun?!!!
