Hi all, I have a 1993 945T. I just ran a Carfax report on it to see if it has been reported as salvaged (it has, thus I need to have a salvaged title here in Illinois). Anyway, it also said that there was a recall that hadn't been fixed.

The recall was issued on April 1, 1993 (the car was bought in October '92), and the description is, ver batim:

Manufacturer recall / service bulletin issued
Recall #R2309 Hose 940 w. Turbo AC

I recently bought the car from my brother in law who had bought it in '95 or '96 from a salvage company. He's had a lot of hoses recently replaced, any ideas on which hose this recall was for and whether I should get it fixed now, or wait a little until my current hoses get some more age on them?

Will Volvo honor a recall 11+ years after the fact, not to mention a wreck that totaled it? Do I even need the work done?
