What does positive crankcase pressure mean? Air pushing outwards or inwards? 200

Positive would mean there is pressure pushing outwards..outisde of the oil filler cap?

Or there would be negative pressure...in that there is a suction if you stuck your hand on the oil cap area?


Because on my car there is massive air being pushed outside when i open the cap?

And the volvo dealer just supposedly put in a new flame trap.


I have a feeling i'll have to go hunting for that flame trap and oil seperator box...my guess is the oil seperator is clogged.
