Speedometer now fixed 700 1992

I just wanted to post a followup to this thread from last week:

Where I pointed out a new way to test the pulse generator. I received a replacement speedometer (just the speedo unit -- I had to pull it out of the cluster myself and put the replacement gauge in -- not hard, but lots of screws) on Thursday and it worked perfectly. I saw that the thread was added to the FAQ. I now have two diagnosis entries in the FAQ. I am so proud of myself!!!!


Word: Just because some speedo guy says he fixed and tested your speedometer, doesn't mean that it is not still broken!!!!! Sheesh. If I wasn't already insane, this whole experience would have certainly made me so.
