Heck i can still see numbers that are engraved into the top engine parts, in addition to shiny metal. I have used Chevron Delo 400 15W-40 (newest rating "SL") for the last 2 summers and it has been absolutely a good oil, particuarly for the money. I would change it every 2500-3000 miles (used heavy-duty chemical resistant rubber gloves to protect skin *home depot). But I just started to hear about deposit issues regarding 15w-40 in addition to cata-converter clogging?
