The Long And Winding Road 200 1982

Hello,

Today I brought my 82DL (K-Jet 120k miles) in for the NJ Enhanced Emissons Test. This was the last stop on a restoration project that started last fall. In that time frame the following work has been done:

Repainted exhaust manifold, new header pipe, cat and cat back pipe
New clutch, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, clutch cable, rear seal and oil pressure sensor
All new motor and trans mounts
New center support bearing and mount.
Repainted the drive shaft and supports.

All this work was done by me and a close friend (a real mechanic) over the last two months. The results of the inspection are as follows:

Safety: Pass
Emissons:
Limit Actual
Nox 1273 461
HC 167 24
CO% 1.57 .02

I now have the satisfaction of knowing that I brought this old car back to life and that she slayed the emissions demons.

Mario
