hardly any throttle response 200 1986

I would suspect your TPS, throttle position switch. if your in-tank pump was not working, your car would not run. See if you can adjust the TPS to click when it is supposed to, follow per bentley, or you may need to just get a new one if yours is shot.

My guess anyway.
