Valve adjustments 200 1978

Hey guys I have been gone for a while due to being in school. Well, I thought I would take a vacation now that the semester is ending to Las Vegas. This is funny I own a 262c '78 Bertone with a 2.7 v6 engine. I thought my car was running smoothly with style. I was devastated the day I got hearing aids for my hearing lost and I powered up my car and it sounded like a Volkswagen. I was terribly disappointed to hear my timming being off and now I hear a valve ticking a bit. I would like to perform a valve adjustment. Years ago when I used to own a Bmw I made a valve adjustment and I did a pretty good job. Now, Back to my Volvo Bertone which has a lot of style, now I need to have it run with style. I was just wondering if anyone has any information on how to do a valve adjustment. I would like to identify top dead center of the first cylinder and know the proper valve clearance to perform the adjustments. What specific procedures should I follow for the adjustment of my valves. Well, any help would be appreciated. Julio Meza I just wanted to say hello and thanks for the help last time with my tranny. I will be in Vegas by the 16th of this month. So if anyone is gonna be in Vegas I would like to meet up and have a few brews and talk bricks! Thanks and Sorry for my rambling and perhaps making the post too long.
Abel
