changed my trans fluid....ouch... 200 1982

The color was a dark murky red-brown. The bottom bolt was a magnetic type and was covered with metal shavings.

I have a strange feeling the po didn't change the trans fluid....ever!!

Anybody else have an experience like this...or this the normal color of ATF after it is churned a bit?

I'm probably going to let this sit a while...and then change it to redline.
