powder-coating wheels? 120-130

that thing about the powdercoating cracking sounds like a load of crap to me. Powder coating is actually just a plastic dust that melts onto the metal it is applied to. Plastic is a highly variable material and as such, the powder is engineered to be both flexible and hard. Not much of a chance of the stuff cracking, and it is 10 times more durable than paint based on salt spray tests and impacts.

Also, it is 10 times more expensive.

Sand them down to a smooth surface or use a chemical stripper. Prime those babies and shoot them with your choice of rattle-can enamel. I love dupli-color gloss black. Looks beautiful and has that trick spray nozzle.

good luck,
Josh
