Wiper Motor All of a Sudden Started to Make a Grinding Noise 200 1989

Hey there...ya'll. I need opinions on a noise that began tonight, unfortunately, when I turned on my front wipers. After checking through the peep hole to make sure that no wires or radio parts were rubbing against the wiper braces, I determined that it's either a loose bolt or my wiper motor is failing. It sounds like an electronic grinding noise with a small wheeze, seems to come from the passenger side, and I can actually feel a small click through the gas pedal when the wipers go into a cycle. Anyone got a suggestion as to what it might be? Second opinions appreciated...

Dave
