Engine Cleaning 200 1988

Just as Spring-time cleanup of the engine area, I use GUNK and spray it on. Srub areas with a paint brush and hose off. I don't blast the heck out of the alternator or the Rotor. basic thinking is to keep the electrical stuff dryish.
If the engine is out, that will make it easy to brush and to be careful with the hosing down. Otherwise, I don't really worry about it. I do start the car right after it's bath and let everything dry out.
