Does your brick have a Regina ignition?

I was told that the Regina has to crank longer when it starts because it has to turn one whole revolution before it knows where it is!

I alwaye felt that our '90 745 GL with Regina ignition turned over a long time before it started. I had it looked at several times to no avail. I will say this - it ALWAYS started.
