How much rust is too much? 200 1983

My condoleances...I grew up in northern Maine and I am well aquainted with the sorrow of losing a nice car to rust...I have become very spoild living in west Texas where rust is a rare thing indeed...cutting it out and welding in new metal is the only way to truly be rid of it. It can be patched up though and buy you maybe even a few years. I understand your wanting to fix it but for me personally...I've worked on my last rust bucket.

how much rust is to much? Any.
Just one mans opinion...and Men are like....
