M46 Transmission fluid fill bolt seized and rounded - any tricks to get it out?? 700 1991

Previous owner rounded off the bolt and the transmission fluid needs changing.
The bolt seems pretty soft. I have heard that it's aluminum.

I have already soaked the bolt a few times with penetrating oil and banged it with a hammer before torquing on it. It just gets more rounded and doesn't budge.

I have heard conflicting info on this (ie. weld an old socket to the bolt vs. don't weld because it may crack the aluminum pan) so its time to poll the brickboard.

Any suggestions appreciated.
