Oil leak question 700

Hi, I've got a 745t with a bad oil leak. The dealer said it was a rear main seal, but based on the rest of their work I don't believe they know that for sure. The strange thing is that it leaks (a lot) when the oil is full, but if the oil is a quart to a quart and a half low it barely leaks at all. My question is what seal is at that oil level in the sump? Thanks for the help!
