Brake Question...Need Help S90-V90 1997

Jerry,

Thank you for your insight on the rear E-brake shoes...
I will check to see how they are I highly doubt they are worn.
One reason is the older couple I bought the car from drove it 7000 miles a year.
So that is a good thing!

Now for the pads... I got my answer when I called my FAVORITE brake manufacture. Porterfield brakes in Newport Beach, California.

Cars from 96-99 which have IRS most likely have girling pads.
I got a part number from them and already ordered a full set front and rear.
Don't care if the pads on the car are not worn. I love Porterfield's carbon/kevlar compound, one of the best pads I have used on my '88 BMW M3 for track days & street. So once they arrive I am going to install them!! Can not wait!!

Anyways... check them out if you ever want a great set of brakes for any of your vehicles. BEST PART!! *** Mention the Volvo Club of America, and get a discount!!

Thanks for your help.
