Well, it turns out I have free towing (thanks Chevron Travel Club!) so the volvo is at home in my driveway. Tomorrow I'll be adding more gas and giving it another go. The tow truck driver said he'd seen this at least a hundred times, and that my filter is probably shot. I want to replace it, but the thing is I just put it in less than a thousand miles ago. Can I clean it out at all? Thanks, Jake Lunden
