Borg Warner 35 (automatic) HELP! 140-160 1970

The first BW35 I rebuilt had similar symptoms. I had installed the governor unit on the output shaft the wrond way round. Simple to repair - pull off the extension housing and there it is - don't even take the trans out of the car. Check it anyways - that's the best I can offer.
