CD options on 1990 760 Wagon 700 1990

So I have the immediate, emergency repairs done to the charity-auction-special (1990 760 turbo wagon, 222K, black) and I am thinking, music.

I was extremely pleasantly suprised when I listened to the stock stereo (radio and seperate tape deck), but all I could find in my tape collection was an old Violent Femes, Lyle Love and his Large Band and an early Cowboy Junkies. I think you see the quandry I am in...the only thing I would change about the set-up is lose the tape and gain a single in-dash cd player.

As I see it I have two options, RF modulate CD changer in the trunk area (not ideal) or a good quality single space receiver/cd player (OK, but then I lose the existing Amps) or a dbl-DIN unit pinched from a late model wreck with a 6-CD in-dash player (intruguing).

Any ideas?
