I try to get to each one before the cut-off time for the "edit" function, and change the subject line to "Ignore, accidental duplicate, nmi" or some such.

That no reader's time need be wasted.

It's a PITA when I hit "Submit" and get some sort of error message or "Site not found" and find out later that the message was submited.
