fuel and fuel sensor replacement 200 1983

Be careful taking the hoses off the sender pipes, which are probably very fragile by now.

For the Output hose, I use a small, fine-toothed hacksaw on the hose clamp, then work the hose free by prying with a small screwdriver.

For the Return line (rubber sleeve over thermoplastic line) I saw the line off at the end of the "barb" fitting.

I replace the Return by cutting the outer rubber back about 2" to expose the plastic line, then reconnect it with a short splice of 5/16" ID Fuel Injection rated hose and FI hose clamps.

The return pressure is very low, and this has worked for me several times with no problems.
