Bad Oil Leak 200 1986

My 86 240 with 240,000 miles has an oil leak that is making me crazy. I do suspect an issue with the flame arrestor system, but dispite a new flame arrestor and cleaning the system (maybe not good enough) and checking the vacuum lines it still leaks oil on a sporatic basis.

I took off the oil filler cap and increased the idle, I saw oil spray coming up out of the filler cap. Additionally, when I just loosened the oil cap, I expected the vacuum to "hold it down", I did not get this.

Please, any tips or advice would be appreciated.
