I saw a primo restored VW Safari van last night while out on a bike ride. It had it's wheels painted white, with pin-stripe type tires on it. With those VW classic chrome hubcaps, the wheels looked pretty cool to me. I'm thinking I'm leaning towards painting my rims white now and going for the pin-stripes...

Now the question is, should I wait and get these stock rims widened before painting...?
