Just a comment on my errant gas gauge. It had started showing about half the true amount after the car sat for nearly a month. I chose to live with this after hearing comments on this board about expense and hassle of replacing unit in the tank. The trip odometer worked great as a poor man's gauge....
After a month of daily driving (more than 100 miles a day) it now works fine! It may not last long, but for now I'm happy.
