Borg Warner 35 (automatic) HELP! 140-160 1970

I was told by a tran shop that it is either the valve body or a binding in the gears. How ever i am goning to try the govener deal. Rhys could you please post more information about how I can check to see if I installed it wrong? Thanks for all of the help and I'll post any findings about this. Oh if any 1 is interested I have a manual from a tran shop on this transmission if any 1 want me to scan it I can do this.
