Borg Warner 35 (automatic) HELP! 140-160 1970

I've got a British Autobooks service manual for my 144, and had a look. There are 17 symptoms that have fault suggestions next to them, and the first one is for "no drive in any position". I've found the suggestions in other chapters to be more guess than anything else, but here goes: 1) check selector linkage adjustment, 2) check oil level, and 3) downshift cable out of adjustment. As you can see, not of much use, but who knows?

Question: at how many miles did you have to do the rebuild? And what was it like (i.e. the reason) for the rebuild? Maybe you've said this before and I've missed it.

Have fun...

PS: I might contact you in the future about the BW35 manual. Or maybe pay you to burn it to CD and mail it to me?
