A/C conversion HELP NEEDED! 700

500$ might be a tad steep for the conversion but keep in mind y0u need to remove the compressor to do the job and replace dryer/orifice valve/o-rings, and oil.

Keep in mind that highly likely your system has a leak once it is tested, hence 500$ later you might not have a reliable system.

Hence, before they do the conversion have them determine what leaks there are and extrapolate an estimate for the entire job, including the recharge at the end.

All in all, most A/C repairs can easily reach 1000$ and even beyond.
