83 245 M46 Transmission Removal 200 1983

Hello,

I am thinking about doing a transmission swap in my 83 245. The transmission has been very tempramental lately and now grinds while going into 4th. I know where I can get a used M46 from an 85 244 for about $50.

How hard is removing this sucker? I need to replace the clutch and mounts, too, so I figured I might as well just get it over with. Any special tools needed? How high up do I need to raise the car?

Thanks.
