question for greg mustang re a/c vacumn pump 700 1990

Hi Greg,

just read your reply re a/c vacumn pump where you brought one from e bay and I have a question that you may be able to answer. I just had my a/c system evacuated recently and the mechanic cannot find the high side to attach the vacumn pump hose[ we hooked up the low side which is the new fitting for the r134, and hooked that up].

It seems the high side port was right where my compressor was so all he did was hooked up only the low side and started the vacumn machine.

now my system keeps on freezing up after about 10 minutes of running.

how did you evacuate your a/c system with the vacumn pump. which port[s] did you used?

thanks Greg
