Clean the idle air motor and throttle body. You do this by taking the air inlet hose off of the throttle body...spray, spray, spray with cleaner (we take a toothbrush and open the throttle, and scrub off the "lip" of ick.) Then reattach the hose, and run the car for a couple of minutes. It will be hard to start. Next, take the hose going into the idle air motor off of the air inlet hose (the one you took free to clean the throttle), and spray a "smidge" of cleaner in there. Push the hose back on the hose, start the car, run it for a minute. Do this several times. This is the sneaky easy way to clean the idle air motor. On the air mass meter, unplug it, apply electromotive grease to contact, and plug it back in. Hopefully, all will be fine now.
