230f into 79 242 (auto to manual) Questions.... 200

Thanks again to the quick responses from you guys re the swap I am doing. I just needed some clarification on a few things, I am pulling the 230f out of my 86 240gl auto and installing it into a 79 242 manual. I have been told that this is do-able and that the flywheel should work fine (good news). I am also going to swap over the electrics (ecm etc) and would like any advice regarding compatibilty issues. I am fluent in 12v electrical and am ok with the electrics, I would however like some input regarding possible problems if any.
Thanks again in advance, I look forward to sharing some future mods with you guys (porting, headwork and go fast goodies)!
Thanks
Ray
