Swapping 960 bad block. Advice? 900 1992

My 92 960 block blew and I'm replacing it with what is supposedly a 97. Any way I can tell from the block number that it is a proper improved block? Besides PS, Alternator, and AC brackets is there anything else I need to make sure comes with the long block?

I swapped a lot of red iron years ago but haven't done any of these alloy jobs, so I need reassurance....

Thanks!
