Swap out auto for 410 140-160

Swapped a 4 cylinder from a 242 into a 265 wagon once. One day job!!

My best guess is: flywheel, clutch assy, release arm and release bearing, tranny, xmember, speedo cable, complete drive shaft and carrier bearing assy, all the OD electrical goodies, clutch cable and pedal assy and all associated hardware. Possibly the brake pedal too, as I cannot remember if the brake pedal is wider on the automatic cars.

The holes for mounting the xmember in various positions are (or should be, mine were) already in the car. Pretty much a bolt up operation.

Don't know what kind of part throttle kick down mechanism is in the throttle linkage though. Never dealt with B30s much at all. Heck, I don't even know how they get fuel (D Jet or something??)

Replacing the clutch and pressure plate is your call, based on condition you see when you get it out, I would sure use one that looks pretty good. Ifthe pressure plate and flywheelare clean flat and no "hot blue" I 'd hit em wth an Orbital sander to give em some some "tooth". I would change the release bearing for sure and if you are keeping the engine from the auto car, you will definitely need a pilot shaft bearing.

Have fun
