Transmission Problem 900

My 94 940 with an automatic transmission has recently developed an annoying problem. It goes into drive with no problems, shifts smoothly etc. The problem is reverse. After I park, when I get back in the car (or even right after I park) when I put the car in reverse, it doesn't want to back up. When I put the car in neutral, it wants to go forward but not as strongly as when I put it in D.

After checking the FAQ, it appears that this might be caused by a bad tranny mound and/or misaligned linkage. I have replaced the mount on an '87 740, so I assume this is the same (and I have one coming in from FCPGroton.com), but if the linkage is misaligned, how do I adjust that?

One other question, I always see the tranny mount referred to as the "rear transmission mount" but have never heard of or seen a "front transmission mount". Is there any such thing?

TIA,
Ian
