If you are getting the transmission mount from FPCG you are getting the correct part, and there is only one. The 87 740 had the AW tranny so the replacement procedure will be the same (easy). Read over the instructions in the FAQ. Don't forget to support the tranny.

As far as adjustment, I never had to, but there are three nuts that allow for adjustment. The instructions are in the 940 Haynes and you can get that from FCPG too. It is probably going to be a matter if trial until you get it just right. And do yourself a favor and blast the underside at a car wash before you have to get underneath.
