a.c. help part 2 700

i found out that when i hit the a.c. switch the fan in front of the radiator doesnt come on, but without it, it will still blow very cold air for 3 minutes before it quits working but if i turn the car off and let it sit and then start it again it works for another three minutes. Like i said in my earlier post it worked perfectly fine last year before the water pump went out but i caught it in time. How should the wires be hooked up on the thermostat switch on top of the radiator. should it go blue wire on top pin and black wire on bottom pin. i also heard correct me if i am wrong that the nessen metal radiator which i have wear out the thermo swwitch on the radiator. i need a simple test if you guys can help to test out the thermo switch on top of the radiator, fan auxilary relay and any other relays i should test or any other things i should look out for. any help would be great
