M46 4th gear lockout relay 700 1989

Have replaced my auto trans with a M46 4spd OD. Everything works fine except the 4th gear switch is always on meaning I can get overdrive in any gear. What wiring mod is necessary to correct this? Also the instrument cluster flashes the "up shift" arrow when in regular gears but turns off when in overdrive. I need it to be off and the OD light to come on when the OD in engaged. I think I recall that John Sargent did a conversion like this. Could someone help me with the details please.
