Update on neighbor's 1980 240 that he wants $250 for 200 1977

It's a six cylinder GLT. It's got the 18570R14 spoked alloys....and leather seats.....wondering if they'll fit my daughter's '89 240???? Also..it has some rust...but the only thing keeping the 6 cylinder from running is the fuel pump. I don't have much experience with these engines....I mainly know about 4 cylinder. Thinking about buying neighbors car for $250....any words on these 6 cylinder 5 speeds?
