how much should I pay for stuff to convert to power windows 200

I was going to the wreaking yard today to pull all parts needed for a power window conversion. Well, I got there at least it's with in a few miles and told the person at the counter what I wanted, and he said, you may not want the parts after I quote you a price." His price was $300 for everything including moters, swithches and wires. He was right told him I was sure that was too much money. I could see that if maybe he was pulling it and installing it in my car, or if he had a shortage of them. He had about three or four cars that had been just sitting there since July, yet he was not willing to give me a decent deal on his parts. He will probably have them This July too. Then they will probably be crushed with the cars and not even be sold for any money. This seems like bad bussiness to me, even if I would have paid him a $100, he would still be making more then he gave for one of his wreaked cars. If, wanted to, which I don't I could have any electrial shop in town intall aftermarket power windows with in $50 of that price and that's installed! Oh, well, thats not the only place I can get those parts, but his attitude blew me away. Thanks for leting me vent.
