trunk locked shut, help get the homework out! 700

Yea this I would like to see with my son, eats 6 times a day and no junk food. Look carefully at him in the picture, hes sitting in the drivers seat of the 240 wagon. He did however manage to lock the key inside the car, the only key to the blasted car at that! What I did find was another key that actually fit and opened the damn thing, it was my leftover key from my old 242 flathood! What are the odds of this???

The only other idea that comes to mind is to look at a wiring schematic and see if you can track down the wires leading to the trunk latch motor and run it that way to get inside. After this I would disable the lock until a real key can be made if not already in the works.

With my son and his best friend in the back of my Ranger at the same time, they exceed the maximum load capacity and sink it to the rubber stops!
