Long trip looming 200 1989

Hi:

Later this week, I'll be taking my '89 240 Wagon on a long trip from Michigan to Massachussets (any NRBQ fans out there who will be going to the 35th anniversary shows?) My questions are as follow:

* Are there any preventative preparatory steps I should be taking before embarking on this trip? I changed the oil already and all my fluids are topped off; brakes are sound.

* I am experiencing occasional problems withthe OD turning on and off intermittantly. I know about the relay and intend to address it before the trip. Does anyone know the best place in the metro Detroit/Ann Arbor area to get a used OD relay? Or would I be better off resoldering the one I have? If so, what's the best way to go about this?

* Any must-see spots in the Northampton MA vicinity?

Thanks in advance. This is such a wonderful and helpful site.

Will
