240 Engine block Questions 200

My little Brother Has A 85 (I think) 240 Turbo with a blown engine and a 83 ( I may have the 2 years backwards) 240. The Turbocharger is still good and I was looking at replacing the engine in the 85 ( it still looks like new ) However My father and I cannot determine wether or not the engine bloce and head from a Factory NA 240 will work with a factory Turbo 240. If it is too hard to find a engine for the turbobrick I think I may have to drop in a V8.
