Fuel Injector Seal Kit Installation - Plastic Tip 200 1983

i am assuming you are speaking about the plastic holder? On my kjet 82 244 Dl i removed it simply by placing a piece of cloth over the tip of the injector and with a sort of pliar i removed the cap. I've heard of people drilling holes in pieces of wood and then putting a piece of cloth over the head of the inverted injector and lightly hammering the cap off.

Also i've heard of people using a vise grip to slightly(and i mean slightly) cursh the plastic and remove it this way.

They are pretty sturdy bits of equipment....the injectors, but even a slight bit of screwup on the tip i believe can mess them up permanantly.

even with all this i wouldn't be too worried, use the pliar or the drilled wood method or whatever and itll come right off:)

After that remove the rubber inside on the injector and after putting in a new one...the new plastic holder will go right on..just push a bit. Some people grease the rubbers before putting them on as well.

There's also another rubber on the outside of the plastic holder.

good luck
