Strange electrical, fuel problem on my 740 700 1990

I'm thinking two problems. I'm thinking intank pump is very tired, and would like to be retired. I'm thinking ignition switch spring is loosing it's sproing. Keep it full, really full; see if this keeps the spit sputter down to a minimum. Next time you have the wierd electrical gremlin visit, eeeek your key back, counter clockwise, just a smidge...and see if you don't get everything back.
