engine swap b21f to 16valve???? 200

My parents currently own a 1989 740 wagon with the 16valve engine, my dad would like to put the turbo engine in the 740 so we soon will be pulling the 16valve engine. I currently have a 1980 242gt with a b21f engine. Can the 16valve engine be put in very easily into my 242(i assume that i have to change the injection system)? if so will the 16v give me much better acceleration? i would really like my 242gt to be a little quicker, if anyone has any input or ideas it would be much apreciated.

PS. the 16v runs like a dream and only has around 200,000 kms on it.
