Tire size 140-160 1974

yea, I hear you loud and clear. I'm trying to go original whenever I can, but maybe this is not the right place to do it. Should note that I had a '71 142 in my younger days with the correct tire size and can't remember that the car handled badly (but that was based on my experience at the time). My brother once had an Amazon that he put much wider tires and a much smaller steering wheel on, and I remember what a workout he had driving it. Maybe I'll compromise with 185's.
BTW here in PHX, AZ snow is not much of a concern...
